Profile: Bill Broich

Annuity.com Founder, Bill worked for a number of large insurance companies over the years but grew to see the sales organization as a tool of the General Office executives, rather than a benefit to agents and financial representatives. Managers were pressured by the organization to hire, hire, hire new agents, with little concern for retaining the veterans that are proven producers.

A former commercial winemaker, Bill still owns and operates a small, nonprofit winery out of Grapeview, Washington which contributes proceeds from wine sales to local charities.

Bill also enjoys sailing on his boat, and is a founding member of the Grapeview Yacht club.

A not-so-amateur photographer, Bill developed his own prints for a number of years, maintaining his own darkroom. He has a collector's knowledge of mid-century cameras and has worked with a number of large format professional cameras, some of which he owns to this day.

"As an independent agent I am free to provide for myself and make the decisions in the best interest of my clients."
